FABIAN ONETTI

PRESIDENT AND FOUNDER

Fabian founded Winston Capital Advisors in 2016 to be a solution provider for Latin America’s needy wealth management market and also for South American institutions that need an international perspective and strategic focus for global capital markets (off- shore). Fabian has over 30 years of experience in the financial sector with a focus on emerging markets and international finance serving Ultra High Net Worth clients. He spent over 24 years at Morgan Stanley, reaching the position of head of international sales for the wealth management division, with commercial responsibilities in all jurisdictions outside the USA. He had more than $ 125 billion in assets under management (AUM), and was responsible for about $ 425 million in revenue. He received an MBA in 1992 from New York University. Graduated in Business Administration and Theology in 1986 and Master in Accounting in 1987 from Universidad Católica Argentina, Buenos Aires.

Miguel joined Winston Capital in 2017 from the Barclays Portfolio Solutions Group (BRAISE / POINT), where he advised institutional portfolio managers on risk analysis and assignment in credit portfolios as well as in the construction of customized portfolios and benchmarks.

Miguel is a graduate and presidential scholar from the Elliot School of International Affairs at George Washington University, with a degree in Foreign Affairs and International Politics. Miguel started his career in strategy and business development at Skadden Arps LLP before making the transition to the world of quantitative portfolio solutions, analysis of index products at Barclays Capital.

He brings his knowledge of indices, financial technology and strategic initiatives to the team at Winston Capital Advisors.

Luiz Carvalho

CHIEF ANALYST

Luiz Carvalho joined Winston Capital in 2018 after working for two years advising companies and individual clients on global investment and portfolio allocation. From 2008 to 2015, Luiz was a manager (PM), risk manager and research analyst at Tree Capital, a long / short hedge fund focused on Latin America and headquartered in New York. Before co-founding Tree Capital, he worked at Morgan Stanley, where he served as a stock analyst, covering companies in Latin America and the United States.

He received several from Institutional Investor magazine, WSJ Best of the Street, Latin Finance magazine, Reuters and Greenwich. Also at Morgan Stanley, as Managing Director, he was responsible for the Equity Capital Markets area for Latin America between 2006 and 2008.

Previously, Luiz worked as an equity research analyst at JP Morgan. He graduated in Electronic Engineering from Universidade Mackenzie (São Paulo), has a BA in Finance from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (São Paulo) and an MBA from Anderson School at UCLA.

Gustavo Felici joined Winston Capital Advisors in 2018 as a Technical Analyst, with more than 30 years of experience. From the beginning of his professional career, he developed and deepened his knowledge of technical analysis. In 1983 he began his career as a bond trader in the Argentine financial market among stockbrokers and over the counter.

In 1990 the study of technical analysis was deepened with great teachers and founding specialists in Argentina of these techniques, with intensive courses in this practice, participation in seminars and forums of technicians.

From 2004 to 2013 I worked in the private banking sector at The Investment Company (Representation of foreign banks in Buenos Aires) as a company administrator and advice on technical analysis.
Since 2013 to date, Technical Analysis advisor with management of a family Investment fund.
